At Point One Prep, we're confident in our platform's ability to help you achieve significant score improvements. That's why we offer our 1500+ Score Guarantee to eligible students who complete our comprehensive program.
Guarantee Overview
If you subscribe to Point One Prep for at least three (3) consecutive months, complete all required program activities as outlined below, and your official SAT score does not reach at least 1500 or improve by at least 100 points (whichever target is lower) from your Initial Score to your Final Score, we will refund the subscription fees for your last three (3) months of service.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the 1500+ Score Guarantee, you must satisfy all of the following requirements during your subscription period:
Active Subscription
Maintain an active, paid subscription to Point One Prep for a minimum of three (3) consecutive months.
Complete All Academy Lessons
Complete 100% of the Academy lessons available on the platform. This includes watching all instructional videos and completing all associated practice exercises.
Complete 500 Gauntlet Questions
Successfully answer at least 500 questions in the Gauntlet (adaptive practice mode). Questions must be answered honestly and to the best of your ability—random guessing or gaming the system disqualifies you from the guarantee.
Complete 5 Full-Length Practice Tests
Take at least five (5) full-length SAT practice tests (using official College Board practice tests or equivalent), with at least one (1) week between each test. Tests must be completed under timed, test-like conditions.
Dedicate 10 Hours Per Week
Spend a minimum of ten (10) hours per week actively using the Point One Prep platform. This includes any combination of completing lessons, answering practice questions, reviewing explanations, and taking practice tests.
Take an Official SAT
Take an official, proctored SAT administered by the College Board within three (3) months of completing all the above requirements. The score from this test will be considered your Final Score.
Establish Your Initial Score
Have a valid Initial Score between 1300 and 1490 (inclusive) as defined below before starting the program or within the first two (2) weeks of your subscription.
All activities must be tracked and verifiable through your Point One Prep account. We reserve the right to review your account data to verify compliance with these requirements.
Definitions
Initial Score
Your "Initial Score" is the highest official SAT score you achieved on a College Board-administered SAT taken within the twelve (12) months prior to subscribing to Point One Prep, OR a baseline score from an official College Board practice test taken within the first two (2) weeks of your subscription under timed, test-like conditions.
To be eligible for the guarantee, your Initial Score must be at least 1300 and less than 1500.
If you have never taken an official SAT or College Board practice test, you must take an official College Board practice test as your baseline within the first two (2) weeks of your subscription.
Final Score
Your "Final Score" is the score you receive on an official, proctored SAT administered by the College Board that is taken within three (3) months of completing all eligibility requirements outlined above.
Score Improvement
"Score Improvement" is calculated as the difference between your Final Score and your Initial Score. For example, if your Initial Score was 1300 and your Final Score is 1420, your Score Improvement is 120 points.
Active Subscription
An "Active Subscription" means that your Point One Prep subscription is current and in good standing, with all payments made on time and no interruptions, cancellations, or refunds processed during the eligibility period.
How to Claim Your Guarantee
If you meet all eligibility requirements and your Final Score is below 1500 AND your Score Improvement is less than 100 points, follow these steps to claim your refund:
- Submit a claim within 30 days of receiving your official SAT score report from the College Board. Claims submitted after this window will not be accepted.
- Email your claim to: support@pointoneprep.com with the subject line "1500+ Score Guarantee Claim".
- Include the following documentation:
- A copy of your official SAT score report showing your Initial Score (if applicable)
- A copy of your official SAT score report showing your Final Score
- Your Point One Prep account email and username
- A brief statement confirming you completed all eligibility requirements
- Allow up to 14 business days for us to review your claim and verify your account activity against the eligibility requirements.
- Receive your refund: If approved, we will issue a refund for your last three (3) months of subscription fees to the original payment method within 14 business days of claim approval.
We will verify all claims against your account activity logs. Fraudulent claims or attempts to game the system will result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of the guarantee.
Exclusions & Limitations
The 1500+ Score Guarantee does not apply in the following circumstances:
- You fail to meet any of the eligibility requirements outlined above.
- Your Initial Score is below 1300 or is 1500 or higher. The guarantee is designed for students within this specific score range.
- You cancel your subscription before completing at least three (3) consecutive months of service.
- Your account shows evidence of cheating, gaming the system, random guessing, or otherwise failing to engage with the platform in good faith.
- You take your Final Score SAT more than three (3) months after completing all eligibility requirements.
- You have previously claimed and received a refund under this guarantee or any similar guarantee offered by Point One Prep.
- Your subscription fees were obtained through promotional codes, discounts, scholarships, or free trials that resulted in reduced or waived payments. Only full-price subscription fees are eligible for refund.
- You violate Point One Prep's Terms of Service at any point during your subscription period.
This guarantee is limited to a refund of your last three (3) months of subscription fees. No additional compensation, damages, or reimbursements will be provided under any circumstances.
Additional Terms
Modification and Termination
Point One Prep reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the 1500+ Score Guarantee at any time. If we make material changes to this guarantee, we will notify active subscribers via email at least 30 days in advance. Students who enrolled under a previous version of this guarantee will remain subject to the terms in effect at the time of their enrollment.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes regarding the 1500+ Score Guarantee, including but not limited to eligibility determinations and claim approvals, will be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution procedures outlined in our Terms of Service.
No Guarantee of Admission
This guarantee relates solely to SAT score improvement and does not guarantee admission to any college, university, scholarship program, or other educational opportunity.
